Welcome to the Sei Tou Ken Yu Kai Canterbury Kendo Club. The Canterbury Kendo Club was founded by Alex Bennett and Karl Hitchcock in 1988, following Alex’s Rotary Exchange to Chiba, Japan. Today the club trains in a dedicated dojo four days a week, and offers both Kendo (Japanese fencing) and Iaido (sword drawing) classes for all ages and levels.
