Mount Wellington Swimming Club was established in 1970 following the opening of the Swimarama Pool Complex (Now Lagoon Leisure Complex) on 20 December 1969. The Club runs a coaching and training programme covering ‘Age Group’ and ‘Junior’ competitive swimmers and swimmers swimming for fitness, under the direction of Senior Coach Henry Chan and Development Coach Jim Floerchinger.
