Waitakere City Water Polo Club, was founded in 1984 and is based at the recently renovated, West Wave, Waitakere Aquatic centre, Henderson. We are a friendly, growing club; the local club for west and central Auckland. We have teams in all ages, from Flippa ball and Intermediate, through to Seniors. The club encourages our teams to participate in local and National Tournaments- we encourage competition and enjoyment of the sport.
We are a family orientated netball club with an emphasis on developing talented players and coaches and being the best we can be. We have been servicing the Waitakere community for over 50 years catering to Year 7, 8, College and Seniors. If your children want to play or you feel like a change and want to return to netball our 2016 trials and updates are on the Te Atatu Netball Club website.
We are a friendly, volunteer run, tennis club with 4 courts with lights. Junior coaching on Wednesdays Term 4 and Term 1 from 3.30pm. Tuesday is doubles night from 6.00pm $5.00. Thursday fitness tennis 7.00-9.00pm $8.00. Friday mornings 9.30am $3.00 with tea/coffee and biscuit. We have 2 qualified coaches who can give private coaching. One of our coaches also runs cardio tennis.
