Ngatira Tennis club is truly a New Zealand Tennis Icon. The club was created in 1922 and has resided at its current location since 1929. In 2005, new court lights were installed and in 2015 they were upgraded to the best available. The clubhouse was completely renovated in 2009 including the completion of a parking area. Junior group coaching sessions are held all year and she runs school holiday camps for members and non-members alike.
