The 2021 Spike Spin Smash - FREE Sports is coming this month. We are waiting for you to join us with other Youth. We provide two hours of Free Indoor sports activities EVERY SATURDAY from 12PM~2PM: The facility includes Basketball, Badminton, volleyball, and Table tennis. Term 2 art classes & after-school care for children who like to make, create and invent. Located in Raumati, Paraparaumu - Kapiti. For ages 5-13 on Tues, Wed and Thurs. The kid's art classes are from 3.30 - 5pm, however children can arrive from 3pm onwards. There is a late-stay option until 6.30pm. Themes: - Tuesdays - Paint, Print & Sew - Wednesday - Drawing and Painting - Thursday - Clay & Sculpture - Qualified primary teacher and artist - 15 years' experience teaching art to primary-aged children - Progressive teaching methods - Lessons based on traditional and modern arts/crafts, developing skills & creativity - Structured, but in a home-studio setting - Daily or weekly themes - A child-friendly, relaxed environment for after-school - Lots of variety / choice - Excellent resources The classes provide an opportunity to play and experiment in a structured but caring, home-studio environment. Activities are designed and supervised by an experienced primary school teacher and artist. To meet the needs of active and curious children after school we explore a variety of crafts such as sewing, crochet, pottery, felting, weaving, jewellery and woodwork; and the art forms: painting, drawing, sculpting and printmaking. The activities utilise a child's growing mathematical skills such as estimating, measuring, scaling up & down, changing 2D to 3D, exploring symmetry, and pattern-making. Our club delivers a sprocket training programme to all riders on pedal bikes. This is scheduled to restart on 15th February 2021, 5.30pm - 6.30pm. This is a very beneficial coaching programme to learn new bike skills & enjoy BMX. Cost $2 per person Bike & Helmet hire available $2 per item Other Events: Club Nights BMX Junior School challenge 25th March 2021

The North Shore Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5km Fun Run & Walk, and Kids Marathon will take place on Auckland’s beautiful North Shore and is widely regarded as one of New Zealand’s most Scenic Marathon and Half Marathon events. The course is based on a 21.1km circuit that will see participants starting at Milford Reserve before taking in the beautiful Takapuna, Narrow Neck, and Cheltenham Beaches before tackling the amazing 1km Tunnels Loop (you don’t actually go through any tunnels) around Maungauika/Historic North Head. This spectacular part of the course has been the showcase of the event since 2011 with Auckland’s best views over the city and out into the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto Island. Maungauika/North Head Historic Reserve is Treaty of Waitangi redress land of Nga Mana Whenua o Tamaki Makaurau, being the 13 iwi/hapū of Tāmaki Makaurau. There course features a mixture of road, beach, and grass trails, so there is a bit of something for everyone.

Hamilton BMX Club hold their club nights every Wednesday in our season. (weather permitting) starts back 15th February 2021 From 5.15 pm, racing starts @ 6 pm. Pedal & Balance Bikes MTB class BMX is a family sport which we enjoy & have fun so come & join in! For all ages & skill levels on balance & pedal bikes. New riders the first 3 club nights are FREE to register to get you started... Riders must be fully covered eg long pants, long sleeve top, covered shoes (we have some gloves) & we offer bike & helmet hire $2 per item. Most of our new riders start off on their everyday bikes - bikes must not have bike stands, pegs etc... for safety reasons & rider must have either a bike helmet if on a balance bike or a full face helmet on pedal.
