Sailing from Moncks Bay since 1891, Christchurch Yacht Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country. Members past and present provide a roll-call of world-class yachties including New Zealands first sailing Olympic Gold Medallists Peter Mander and Jack Cropp in 1956 and Leslie Egnot.
