Auckland Basketball Services was established in 2012 by Basketball Auckland and Counties Manukau Basketball. Auckland Basketball Services aims to efficiently and effectively deliver the key services required to enable basketball in the Auckland region to operate, develop and grow sustainably. Maniac Basketball is run by Coach Doe Williams. He coaches Rep teams and school teams around the Auckland area. Coach Doe is also available for private lessons and runs a three day Basketball Camp every school holidays. Details can be found on the website

The Glendowie Hoopsters began with a vision to improve basketball in the local community. Franklin Basketball began in 2012 with only a few kids and has quickly grown to include over 400 players from around Franklin. Franklin Basketball runs kids basketball programs for kids aged 5 years and up. There are beginner programs through to representative teams. Beginner programs are located in Pukekohe and Waiuku.
