Founded in 1999 the NZSA identifies & recruits young rugby, rugby league, women’s rugby & netball players from all over New Zealand. Each year NZSA delivers a unique combination of full time coaching, tertiary studies, training and mentoring in a disciplined environment that promotes Maori sporting flair. We also deliver a strength and conditioning program to improve our student’s physical attributes like strength, speed and power.

The Canterbury Rugby League (CRL) was founded in 1912 and is the second largest affiliate of the New Zealand Rugby League and the largest in the South Island. There are 16 clubs throughout the Canterbury Region. CRL controls organisation and co-ordination of all club teams, representative teams, primary, intermediate and secondary schools teams that participate in regularly run competitions, tournaments and programmes.
