We are an Onehunga based puppet theatre that also happens to run unique and dynamic drama classes for children 5-9 and 10-14. Our approach to the performing arts is based in community and in exploring theatre with all of our senses. We endeavor to impart to children basic “acting” skills as well as encourage them to develop as artists who are open to inspiration and have the tools to tell their own stories. We want the children to learn to express themselves through drama by creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to explore who they are in this fast changing world. The classes are fun, imaginative and the students help to develop performances. Both tutors have over 20 years of theatre and teaching practice between us, we are performers and creators and want to encourage the next generation in being confident, creative and strong contributors to the arts and society.
We have studied to masters level and continue to practice in the field we have chosen to teach in.
