Jeanne has the ability to bring the best out of all her singing students. A philosophy of 'Seriously Singing for Fun' makes for a relaxed atmosphere. Students progress at their own pace. Jeanne has experience in contemporary, classical, ballads and folk music. Opportunities are available for music qualifications with the Royal Schools of Music Exams. Board and students are encouraged to perform with the Palmerston North Performing Arts Competitions.

    Jeanne Purdy Singing School
    Jeanne taught my daughter singing for three years. She gave her outstanding encouragement and support. Jeanne always made sure she had songs that suited her voice, and was always willing to 'go the extra mile' when she was preparing for competitions or NCEA singing. We greatly appreciate Jeanne's contribution to my daughter's singing and personal development.

    My Singing with Jeanne
    I joined Jeanne around 5 years ago to scratch a mid life itch to rekindle an interest in singing. Starting from a position of very rough round the edges encouragement and some expert tuition from Jeanne has brought me improvement and confidence. I really enjoy participating in both choir groups and doing some solo work as well. I am having a blast with a great bunch of people and I now firmly believe singing is so good for health and for soul.

    Two if my girls have been learning singing off Jeanne. They love their classes and have both gain significant confidence and skill in their time with her. I highly recommend.
